Oman, Vietnam hold meeting on trade & investment opportunities

Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will take part in the Omani-Vietnamese joint committee first session meetings scheduled to be held in Hanoi, Capital of Vietnam on January 10th to 11th.

Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will take part in the Omani-Vietnamese joint committee first session meetings scheduled to be held in Hanoi, Capital of Vietnam on January 10th to 11th.OCCI delegation will be led by Khalil bin Abdullah al Khunji OCCI Chairman and includes a number of businessmen and women.

OCCI delegation will visit Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to exchange views in the business and investment fields. The delegation will be advised on the potentials and opportunities available in Vietnam in various economic fields, as well as, the business and economic facilities provided by Vietnam.

During the meeting at which the Omani side will be led by Maqbool bin Ali bin Sultan, Commerce and Industry Minister, the Committee will discuss the joint economic relations between the two countries and means of developing them to serve the aspirations of the two sides related to opening joint economic markets, especially the Vietnamese market has witnessed in the last period major developments that attracted world attention.

The committee will also cover the legal frameworks that regularize economic activities and facilitate reciprocal trade between the Sultanate and Vietnam. It will also review the investment opportunities and fields that can enhance the prospective cooperation between the representatives of the private sector in both countries.
