Numerous tours for holiday goers

A range of diverse inbound and outbound tours have been introduced over the last year.

Tran Thi Hai Yen, a representative from Vietrans Tour said that the number of outbound tours has increased by 20 percent over last year with the most popular destinations being China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Currently, these tours are fully booked.

Due to the increasing demand from tourists, the company has launched several new tours such as “The Journey to the land of Buddhism” to Myanmar, the Republic of Korea and Japan. In addition, Vietrans also offers “free and easy” tours to domestic destinations such as Phu Yen, Hon Tam-Nha Trang, and Da Nang’s Son Tra Resort & Villas. Some major tourism companies namely Hanoi Redtours, and Huong Giang Travel still have domestic tours available as well as tours to Hong Kong and China.

Nguyen Tuyet Minh, the head of the domestic tourism department at the Huong Giang Travel Agency said that the company has organised maritime tours to Lang Co in Hue city and Ha Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

The launch of such promotion programmes has attracted many customers, said Ms Minh. She added that her company will offer discounts for customers who book group trips over a longer period of time and provide the best services to customers.

Viettrans Tour also offers discounts of VND100,000 for inbound tours and VND190,000 for outbound tours. In addition, customers have the opportunity to win a Yamaha Mio Classic motorbike or a Samsung LCD 42 TV each week.

Customers can also enjoy a special discount of VND500,000 for a group of five people and a free tour for a group of ten people. The company also offers a package tour to Bai Lu Beach Resort in the central province of Nghe An for VND2 million per person. – VOV
