New production line in Bim Son cement plant inaugurated

Bim Son Cement Co officially put into operation its new production lines on December 7, 2010. This project has total investment capital of 14.399 trillion dong.

The main contractor for this project was Japan-based Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co Ltd-IHI that took responsibility for designing, supplying equipment and technical services.

Up to November 2010, the new production line has produced 920,507 tonnes of clinker and 983,455 tonnes of cement.

The new production line will help offer Vietnamese markets additional 2 million tonnes of cement, raising the total production capacity of Bim Son cement plant to 3.8 million tonnes per year. – TBKTVN
