Natural Resources and Environment Corp. debuts

The Vietnam Natural Resources and Environment Corporation made its debut in Hanoi on July 7.

The corporation is made up of various departments from the ministry, said the Minister for Natural Resources and Environment Pham Khoi Nguyen.

With a chartered capital of VND500 billion and almost 4,000 staff, the corporation will promote its potential and improve its production and business, creating a strong state corporation that aims to become a group by 2015.

The corporation’s main products are maps, aerial photographs and equipment for treating liquid and solid waste. It also provides other services including construction, consultancies, technology transfers, equipment and data on natural resources and the environment.

It is also involved in mining, real estate, environmental treatment, hydrometeorology and climate change.
