Nation rises in IT ranking

Viet Nam rose from 98th ranking in 2007 to 86th in 2008, according to the latest report from Information and Communication Development Index ranking 159 countries and territories.

The top 10 countries ranked in order were Sweden, Luxembourg, South Korea, Denmark, Holland, Iceland, Switzerland, Japan, Norway and the UK.

Viet Nam, as one of the developing countries, has recorded dramatic improvement in index scores together with the countries of Bahrain, Cape Verde, Greece, Macedonia, Nigeria and United Arab Emirates.
