Nasco builds cargo of 6,900 cars for Norwegian partner

Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry Corp, an affiliate of Vinashin in Hai Phong City yesterday held the keel-laying ceremony to start building a car carrier for Norway’s Hoegh Autoliners. The vessel will have designed capacity of 6,900 cars.

This is the modern vessel of 199.9 metres long, 32.26 metres wide, including 16 floors and to be designed by Finland’s Delta Marine Ltd and built under the supervision of Norway’s DVN Registry.
