METRO Helps Flood Victims in Binh Dinh Province

On 10 November, METRO Cash & Carry Vietnam handed a donation of 4,000 cartons of instant noodle and 2,300 cartons of drinking water to Binh Dinh province. The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province received the donation gifts and immediately transferred them to the people in the flood hit areas.

METRO Care & Share is a donation initiative of the METRO Group which is to provide supports to the needy people in METRO’s countries. In Vietnam, the program METRO Care & Share was started in early year 2009 with the TET gift program for the poor people in HCMC, Hanoi and Danang. Also in recent October, the METRO Care & Share of METRO Cash & Carry Vietnam provided food help to the flood victims in Danang city with the total donation amounted 30,000 USD.
