METRO Cash & Carry Launches METRO Trader Program in Hanoi

On November 15, METRO Cash & Carry Vietnam launched its METRO Trader Program in Hanoi. The METRO Trader Program is designed to help METRO’s small and medium-sized retailers increase the sales and profitability of their operations.

On the same day, METRO Thang Long Hanoi opened a sample modern convenience shop and launched an intensive promotion program for the small and medium – sized retailers.

“Delivery assistance, more efficient racking systems, faster check out systems, advanced security systems, and advice on the newest products and business innovations are just a few components of the Program, “Maximizing sales and profit, sharing, providing knowledge and added incentives” are the commitments of the Trader Program of METRO Vietnam to our small and medium retail customers”, said Randy Guttery, Managing Director of METRO Cash & Carry Vietnam.

The first launch of METRO Trader Program in Vietnam was in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2009 with the campaign “4 returns on 1 investment”. The Program has proven very successful and popular and will be further developed to other cities and provinces in November and December.
