Metalex Vietnam 2010 – a huge hit with locals

As many as 11,410 industry leaders across the country visited Metalex Vietnam 2010, a machine tool and metalwork technology exhibition, and an exhibition on support industries, held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 7-9.

The second exhibition focused on parts and accessories manufactured by Japanese and Vietnamese companies.

Visitors were introduced to a wide array of the latest innovations and technologies from leading global brands, as well as promising industrial trends and the latest strategies for business development, said Duangdej Yaikwarmdee, Deputy Managing Director of the Reed Tradex Company. He said that the exhibitors had an excellent opportunity to contact many of their prospective buyers directly, and promote their networks to prospective partners and agents.

Mr Yaikwarmdee said the exhibitors had many good business meetings and made satisfactory deals, which encouraged them to confirm their participation in the future exhibitions, adding stimulus to Vietnam’s developing metalwork and support industries.

He stated that ’METALEX Vietnam 2011’ will be held from October 6-8 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) together with ‘NEPCON Vietnam2011’ – the 4th international electronics and technology trade exhibition and conference, which will attract over 500 global brands from 25 countries to present the latest technologies to domestic buyers in Vietnam and those coming from overseas.
