Manulife Vietnam recentlymade its second donation of VND100 million to Vietnam’s Women Union to support its campaign “Houses of Compassion” for poor women.

“This donation, which aims to help underprivileged women and to alleviate their housing difficulties, provides us another opportunity to support a very worthy cause for the community. It once again demonstrates our long-term commitment to “bringing dreams to life” for Vietnamese people” said David Wong, CEO & General Director of Manulife Vietnam.
In August 2009, Manulife Vietnam and Vietnam’s Women Union signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement to distribute micro-insurance to the rural areas to help the Women’s Union low-income members access the life and medical insurance coverage at an affordable cost. This micro-insurance program has been piloting in Hai Phong since September, and over 4,000 Vietnam’s Women Union members have joined.
