Lilama signs contract for supplying equipment for Do Luong cement plant

Vietnam Machinery Installation Corp (Lilama), representative of EPC contractor for Nghe An province-based Do Luong cement plant project, has officially signed an agreement with the contractors responsible for supplying equipment for the project on July 13, 2010.

In details, the bidding package of supplying technical services and equipment for the main cement furnace with designed capacity of 2,500 tonnes of clinker per day will be supplied by Chinese’s Tianjin Cement Design Institute with total value of $19.4 million and the coal and clinker grounding machines worth $8.7 million will be supplied by Germany’s contractor Loesche Co.

Do Luong cement plant has designed capacity of 2,500 tonnes of clinker per day, equal to 910,000 tonnes per month. The project will be carried out by main investor of Do Luong Cement Joint Stock Co, with major shareholders of Lilama, Housing and Urban Development Group (HUD) and Construction Materials Corp No 1 (Fico). The project’s EPC contractors for this project were Lilama and HUD.
