Lilama 3 sets up joint venture with Dai Nippon Toryo

Lilama Joint Stock Co No 3 (Lilama 3) has lately set up a joint venture with Japan-based Dai Nippon Toryo Co – a large firm in producing and trading paint products for industrial and civil construction works. The new joint venture will take responsibility for importing and distributing paint products of Dai Nippon Toryo in Vietnamese markets as well as setting up distribution channels.

The joint venture has chartered capital of $600,000, in which Lilama 3 contributes $306,000, equal to 51 percent of total capital. From 2012 to 2015, the founding members planned to invest $3 million to build a painting plant in Vietnam to meet the demands of the domestic markets at that time.
