Lenovo’s first consumer All-In-One PCs in Vietnam

Lenovo Vietnam on March 15 announced launching of its first range of consumer all-in-one (AIO) PCs – the Lenovo IdeaCentre B300 and B310 – to the Vietnamese market.

The AIOs are perfect for individuals or families that enjoy the powerful performance of traditional desktop PCs but desire the fun and useful features such as touchscreen capabilities, HD monitor and a streamlined appearance.

Market studies from well-known research firms show that AIOs are a growing segment. IDC predicted that by 2013, shipments of small, ultraportable and AIO PCs will make up 38 per cent of the worldwide desktop market. In 2008, that percentage was 28 per cent of the desktop market.

“Following the launch of our LEC in Hanoi last December, we have been bringing our latest and most stylish consumer products to Vietnam. This helps to meet the increasingly diversified needs of our customers and also demonstrates Lenovo’s commitment to leading the consumer market. The new IdeaCentre AIO PCs introduced today are stylish, feature-packed PCs that make computing more fun for all,” said Kyler Tan, country general manager, Lenovo Vietnam.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre B300 and B310 are currently available from all major Lenovo Business Partners. Pricing of the IdeaCentre B300 starts at VND10,950,000 ($528), while the IdeaCentre B310 is priced at VND17,501,000 ($845). The new models will be packaged with an year on-site warranty, applicable for customers in the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City areas. – VIR
