Largest wood processing plant to be built in north

Ha Giang Forestry Products Export Import and Industry Joint Stock Co on March 6 started construction on building the industrial wood processing plant with a total investment capital of 420 billion dong in Binh Vang industrial zone, Vi Xuyen district in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.

The plant has a designed capacity of 100,000 cubic metres per year covering a site of 13.17 hectares.

The plant is expected to be in operational in Q1 2012.
