International trade fair opens in Can Tho

Hundreds of domestic businesses from the Mekong Delta and southern provinces and foreign ones from the US, Japan, China, Indonesia, and Taiwan are showing their products at the 2010 International Trade Fair that opened in Can Tho on August 28.

On display are information and communications technology, electronics, automobiles, motorbikes, support equipment, agricultural machinary, pharmaceutical equipment and products, cosmetics, processed food, garments, footwear and other consumer products.

The fair also has a special space for a photo exhibition entitled “Can Tho with 1,000 year-old Thang Long-Hanoi”.

Up through the end of the fair on September 3, there will be many other activities, such as trade and trademark promotion, contract signing, exchanges with customers and entertainment events. – VOV
