Int’l Tea Festival to be held in Thai Nguyen

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has approved a plan by the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee to organise an international tea festival that will promote Vietnam’s tea brands to domestic and foreign visitors.

The Committee says that the festival will be held in March 2011.

Pham Xuan Duong, Head of the People’s Committee, said approximately 50-60 countries are already registered to join the festival. Along with the host, 15-20 other tea provinces including Lam Dong, Ha Giang, Cao Bang and Son La will also participate.
