Int’l Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Vietnam 2011 exhibition opens

(VOV) – The 6th International Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Vietnam 2011 exhibition opened in HCM City on September 21.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Bien said the event is the most effective exchange for businesses to widen cooperation and acquire advanced technology to increase the quality of healthcare services.

450 stalls of 350 domestic and foreign groups from 25 countries and territories showcased the latest achievements in the fields of health, pharmacy and medical equipment.

Apart from activities to advertise products, seminars and consultancies will also take place in order to push the development of Vietnam’s healthcare.

The event, which is part of the national key commerce promotion programme, is co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Health.
