Hydropower producer plans to trade shares on UPCoM in June

South Hydropower Joint Stock Co (coded SHP) held its annual shareholders meeting on May 28, 2010, in which the company targeted to reach total production output of 116 million KWh in 2010, bringing in expected revenue of 98 billion dong, profit after tax of 26.39 billion dong and dividend of 3 percent. The attendants also approved for the plan to list shares on UPCoM in June.

At present, the company was the main investor of three hydropower plant projects of Da Siat (finished already, Da Dang 2 and Dam’bri. This year, the company planned to invest additional 50 billion dong in Da Dang 2 hydropower plant in order to put into operation the two turbines in June and July 2010.

As for Dam’bri hydropower plant project, the company has carried out ground clearance works for the water reservoir with investment capital of 219.5 billion dong in 2010.

In the first four months of this year, the company’s operation process of Da Siat hydropower plant has brought in revenue of 6.955 billion dong
