Hoa Phat to build 3rd steel rolling mill in north

Hoa Phat Group has recently announced to build the third steel rolling mill with an expected capacity of 500,000 tonnes of product per year in Hoa Phat iron and steel complex in the northern province of Hai Duong.
After completing its third steel rolling mill, the group’s whole capacity of construction steel would be 1.2 million tones per year.

Hoa Phat said the production line will be newly imported from Italy using the heating furnace technology, thus, energy costs will be very low, equalling to only 25 percent against using diesel.

The plant’s products will include both rolled steel and steel ingots.
