Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival kicks off
The seventh Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival opened on April 7 in an effort to promote the city’s tourism image to both domestic and foreign tourists while providing a chance for travel agencies to display their products and services.
The four-day festival began with an exhibition of more than 250 art photographs on tourism, featuring the Saigon market, Dalat flowers, Mui Ne beach, and Phu Quoc island.
The tourism festival also included a fair with the participation of 80 businesses and 24 provinces and cities, and a ceremony to honour Vietnamese tourism tradermarks.
Nguyen Van Dao, a visitor at the festival, said the event helped raise awareness of scenic places as well as price ranges offered by the tourism businesses. – VOV
