Ho Chi Minh City to host Analytica 2011 trade fair

The 2nd International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology, and Diagnostics (Analytica Vietnam 2011) will be held in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City, on April 7-9.

On site will be 250 domestic and foreign booths displaying laboratory equipment as well as testing, analysis, diagnostic, and biotechnology services.

A conference themed “Analytica Vietnam” will take place during the two days of the fair, at which some of the world’s leading scientists will present topics from the industry’s cutting edge. Approximately 300 delegates from Italy, Germany, China, Japan, and Singapore will be attending the event.

Phung Minh Lai, Deputy Head of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI), says the fair will give biotechnology workers a good chance to seek out partners.

Nicole Klammer, Director of Analytica Fair in Asia, notes that at least 15 German and 8 French companies have registered to take part in the event.

In 2009, the first Analytica Vietnam drew 74 companies displaying products from 11 countries worldwide. – VOV
