HCM City increases role of young entrepreneurs

The Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association met on January 17 to review its work in the past year.

2010 was marked by many practical activities, including the first business forum that involved nearly 500 enterprises, and a series of trade promotion programmes in localities.

The association organised international exchanges in Sweeden, Finland, the US, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Cambodia.

In addition, its charity fund received over VND2.5 billion from businesses to grant scholarships to poor students.

During the year, the HCM City Young Entrepreneur Association admitted 41 new members, raising its total membership to 828. – VOV
