Ha Long shipbuilder hands over car-carrier

Ha Long Shipbuilding Joint Stock Co, under Vinacomin, handed over the 4,900 car HL02 carrier named VIOLET ACE for Israeli partner on March 25, 2011.



This is the second ship to be built and handed over in the contract that Ha Long Shipbuilding Co signed with Israel-based Ray Shipping Co. The newly built ship has total length of 185 metres, width of 32 metres and main engine of 13,560KW. The ship can carry 4,900 cars.



Previously, Ha Long Shipbuilding CO handed over the 53,000 tonne cargo vessel to another Israeli partner on March 22, 2011.
