Ground-breaking ceremony held for Trung Quan bridge project

Quang Binh province department of transport has started construction on Trung Quan Bridge over Kien Giang River. The bridge is situated in two communes of Duy Ninh and Tan Ninh, Quang Ninh Dist, Quang Binh province.

The total investment capital is estimated at 90 billion dong. Railway Construction Joint Stock Co and Tuong Minh Construction and Consulting Co Ltd were the main contractors for this project. The construction is expected to last for three years, from 2010 to 2012.

In the future, Trung Quan Bridge would help connect National Highway No 1A with other inter-commune roads in Quang Ninh Dist, playing an important role in socio-economic development process in the southern part of Quang Binh province – Dautu
