Gold prices reach new peak of VND41.37 million/tael

The domestic price of gold rose by VND200,000/tael on the afternoon of August 4, to more than VND41.3 million/tael.

At 3pm, in Ho Chi Minh City, gold prices hovered around VND41.26-41.34 million/tael.

Meanwhile, in Hanoi’s gold stores, it was listed at even higher prices of VND41.24-41.37 million/tael.

The world’s price of gold increased slightly to US$1,666 per ounce.

Based on today’s exchange rate of VND20,610 per US dollar, the domestic price of gold is now equal to the world value. – VOV
