Gold prices drop by VND180,000 per tael

The drop in world gold prices on March 17 has pulled domestic down gold prices by VND180,000 per tael.

On the afternoon of April 17, gold at SJC company based in HCM City was bought and sold at VND26.26 million and VND26.32 million per tael respectively.

In Hanoi, SJC gold at the Phu Quy Group was purchased at VND26.28 million per tael and sold for VND26.33 million.

On April 16, Bao Tin Minh Chay company’s gold bars were offered at VND26.33 million and bought at VND26.25 million.

The buying and selling prices of SBJ gold at the Sacombank Gold, Silver and Gemstones Company were VND26.27 million and VND26.31 million per tael respectively.
