Gold prices continue to increase

Domestic gold prices continue to rise in tandem with the world’s gold prices.

They went up by VND400,000/tael last weekend and edged further up by VND70,000-90,000/tael on April 12 compared to the day before.

SBJ gold of the Sacombank Jewelry Company was listed at VND26.62-26.70 million/tael. Meanwhile, PNJ-DAB gold of the Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company stood at VND26.56-26.65 million/tael.

In Ho Chi Minh City, gold prices also increased sharply to surpass the threshold of VND26.6 million/tael.

In the European market, the world’s gold prices hit US$1,165.20-1,165.70 per ounce on April 11, rising by US$7 per ounce against the previous transactions.
