GMC fulfils 25.5pct of 2011 revenue plan in Jan-March period


Saigon Garment Production and Trading Joint Stock Co (coded GMC) reported gaining total revenue of 179 billion dong in Q1 of 2011, fulfilling 25.5 percent of the targeted year plan, Nguyen An, the company’s general director reveled in the annual shareholders meeting held today.



Last year, the company posted total revenue of 631 billion dong and pre-tax profit of 40 billion dong, surpassing by 38 percent and 33 percent respectively against the year plan. The company planned to pay 2010 dividend at 20 percent, of which GMC had advanced first round dividend of 10 percent previously.



The company would close the shareholders list on April 8 for second round dividend payment purpose.



In 2011, GMC targeted to reach whole year revenue of 700 billion dong, pre-tax profit of 40 billion dong and pay dividend at 20 percent in cash.
