The Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) and the Vietnam Data Company officially launched a new long-distance surveillance service called MegaCamera on June 2.

Targeted customers include households, small- and medium-sized enterprises, schools and office buildings. They can use the service easily and conveniently via the internet or mobile phone, with fees ranging from 50,000-500,000 VND (2.6-26 USD) per month.

Nghiem Phu Hoan, deputy director of VNPT, said: “The group has been concentrating on the development of value-added services.”
