Germany trade increases by 30%
The German Federal Statistical Office has predicted a strong rise in bilateral trade between Germany and Viet Nam this year.
Two-way trade value has risen more than 30 per cent year on year to over US$3.8 billion by August this year, of which $2.5 billion came from Viet Nam’s exports, said the office.
Councillor of Commerce Nguyen Minh Dung, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, said bilateral trade value was estimated at more than $5.7 billion this year, $1 billion more than last year’s figure, with Viet Nam’s exports to Germany expected to reach $3.7 billion.
