FPT Telecom launches new internet service package

FPT Telecom has launched MegaSave, a new internet service package, to provide to its customers nationwide, allowing each subscriber to access the internet for no more than VND250,000 (US$13.5) per month. The service provides a transmission rate of 3Mps.

“The launch is a response to the Government’s policy of popularising the internet to all people,” said the company’s deputy general director, Pham Thanh Duc. “It will help make it easier for customers to control their monthly spending.”

The company represents over 30 per cent of the country’s internet service market, with about 400,000 subscribers. — VNS
