Foreigners net buyers of 44.6b dong Vietnam shares Wednesday


Foreign investors were net buyers of 44.6 billion dong ($2.1 million) of Vietnamese stocks Wednesday out of a total 811 billion dong traded, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange said.

Volume was 33.7 million shares, with foreigners accounting for 11.3 percent, the stock market operator said.

Foreigners were net buyers of 340,110 shares in Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, known as Vietinbank, 318,830 shares in Tan Tao Investment Industry Corp., know as Itaco, and 138,840 shares in PetroVietnam Finance JSC.

In the month to date, foreigners were net sellers of 178.31 billion dong of Vietnamese stocks on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange.
