Fertiliser firm gains Jan-August revenue of 4.4tr dong

In the first eight months of 2010, PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemical Corp (coded DPM) announced that up to now, the company has produced 534,875 tonnes of fertiliser in the first eight months of 2010, equalling to 72.28 percent of the year plan and imported over 108,000 tonnes of fertiliser to supply for the market.

As the result, the company reported gaining accumulative revenue of 4.4 trillion dong, equivalent to 82 percent of the year plan, contributing to the state budget of 314 billion dong.

At present, the fertiliser firm still continued producing and distributing its products nationwide, as well as maintaining the minimum reserves of 70,000 tonnes of urea to meet the market demands. It was predicted that from now up to the end of this year, the company will supply to market about 320,000 tonnes of Phu My urea and other imported fertilisers. – DDDN
