Expansion work on National Highway No 51 costs 2.4tr dong

Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Development Co (BVEC) signed a credit agreement for carrying out project of expanding National Highway No 51, from km 0+900 – km73+600 in HCM City yesterday.

The project includes expansion works of National Highway No 51 with total length of 72 kilometres, designed speed of 80 km/h. The project’s total investment capital was posted at 3.313 trillion dong, in which the investors’ capital contribution counted for 27.84 percent and the rest 72.16 percent, equal to over 2.39 trillion dong of loans.

The project would be conducted under BOT method within the period of 24 years. Six banks of Bidv, Eximbank, ACB, Agribank, Vietinbank and DaiABank committed to fund about 2.4 trillion dong for BVEC to realise the project.
