EVN offloads over 47m PPC shares

Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) announced on March 18, 2011 about the offloading of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Group. Accordingly, EVN has sold over 47 million shares of Pha Lai Thermo Power Joint Stock Co (coded PPC).



In details, EVN reported offloading 47,108,330 PPC-coded shares among the registered volume of 47,114,326 shares, of which 37,321,280 shares were sold to EVN Finance Joint Stock Co and the rest 9,787,050 shares for An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank).



The transactions started from December 29, 2010.



After the deals, at present, EVN has held 166,391,896 shares, counting for 51 percent of thermo power firm.
