Entertainment technology on display in HCM City

More than 200 businesses from 20 countries will showcase their latest technologies and equipment related to professional audio, lighting, audio visual, broadcast, system integration and entertainment technology at an international exhibition (PALME) opening in Ho Chi Minh City on July 22.

The three-day exhibition, the first of its kind ever held in Vietnam, is targeted at ASEAN markets. It is a good chance for businesses in this sector to share experiences and seek business opportunities.

Vietnam is considered to be one of the most advanced countries in communication and entertainment technology. With a population of 86 million, Vietnam represents a large potential market for new technologies.

The industry is expected to earn as much as US$2.3 billion by 2013.
