DPR fulfils 56pct of whole year profit plan in Jan-March

Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Co (coded DPR) has lately announced that in the first three months of this year, the company reported selling 4,534 tonnes of latex with high sales prices at 94.8 million dong per tonne at average, bringing in total revenue of 443.8 billion dong and pre-tax profit of 157 billion dong, equivalent to 56 percent of the year plan.



Among 373 billion dong of investment capital to be allocated for projects for the whole year, by the end of Q1, the company has already disbursed about 16 billion dong, mainly for capital contribution purposes in Lao Cai Rubber Joint Stock Co, Dong Phu-Dak Nong Rubber Co.



The company planned to hold the annual shareholders meeting on April 19, 2011 in order to seek approval for targeted production output of 17,300 tonnes of latex, earning total pre-tax profit of 279 billion dong.
