Domestic manufacturers seek deals at Hong Kong fair

Forty one domestic manufacturers are showcasing their items at Asia’s largest fair of its kind being held at Asia World-Expo-Hong Kong.

Their products, mainly handicrafts, such as hand-made rattan ware and ceramic products of diverse designs and patterns are enjoying an opportunity to market themselves to quality buyers at the fair, under the title “China Sourcing Fairs: Home Products and Fashion Accessories”.

The fair sees the participation of 2,100 exhibitors from 32 countries and territories, with those from ASEAN member countries displaying their products at more than 100 stands.

According the organisers, this fair signals a rebound in the global economy in the post-crisis period as the number of participating businesses has risen sharply compared with previous years.

The four-day fair will close on April 23.
