Dasiat and Da Dang 2 hydropower plants starts operation

The Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Co (SHP) has lately officially opened and started operation of two hydropower plants of Dasiat and Da Dang 2 in Lam Dong province.

The Dasiat Hydropower Plant, with total investment capital of 242 billion dong, is situated in Loc Bao Commune, Bao Lam Dist, including two turbines with designed capacity of 13.5MW. The hydropower plant is expected to provide annual output of over 60 million kWh.

Meanwhile, Da Dang 2 hydropower plant has chartered capital of 592 billion dong, to be built in the upper of Dong Nai River, at the junction of Da Nhim River and Da Dang River, sited in Lam Dong province’s two districts of Duc Trong and Lam Ha. The hydropower plant has designed capacity of 34MW with average production output of 152 million kWh per year. – Dautu
