Dai-ichi Life sees premiums rise 51%
Dai-ichi Life Viet Nam achieved high growth for the first nine months of the year, with its new business premiums almost equal to the new business-sales volume last year.
In the first three quarters, its new premium turnover reached nearly VND230 billion (US$11.5 million), up 51 per cent over the same period last year, with the third quarter alone representing VND110 billion, which gave its the second-highest position among foreign life insurers in Viet Nam.
Chairman Takashi Fujii said the 2010 target was a growth of at least 50 per cent for new business-sales premiums.
