Creative management helps businesses save costs
The creativity of company leaders and employees in a crisis is a lever to catapult itself out of difficulties, Dr. Dimian Adel Fawzi of Singapore Management University (SMU) told a seminar in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
According to Dr. Dimian, director of SMU’s MBA training program, creativity in management helps businesses cut costs. One way for chain stores to reduce warehousing costs, for example, is through central inventory management rather than planning inventory for each separate store.
he products can be circulated by trucks instead of being stored in a warehouse, which only increases costs.
The seminar, titled “Corporate leaders and creative management in the time of crisis,†was organized by the Business Association of High-quality Vietnamese Products.
