Construction on HCM City Biotech centre starts

Construction works on HCM City Biotech Centre was officially started yesterday May 25 in Dist 12, HCM City, not far from Quang Trung Software Park.

The project was conducted and managed by HCM City Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with initial investment capital of about $100 million.

This will be a multifunctional centre, from doing researches to training and technology-transfer works, as well as producing biological products to serve in agriculture, pharmaceutical and environment sectors.
The construction is expected to be finished in 2014.
