Construction on BigC Thanh Hoa project started
The construction on BigC Supermarket and Trade Centre project in Thanh Hoa City was officially kicked off in Dong Hai Commune, Thanh Hoa City on March 19, 2011. It was the largest retail supermarket in the local area and the 15th BigC supermarket in Vietnam to be sited in total area of 7.02 hectares.
Vu Minh Cong, director of Quang Long Co Ltd, the main investor of this project stated that the construction works would be divided in two phases. In the first phase, the company would build BigC supermarket to be located in an area of 2.87 hectares with expected investment capital of 500 billion dong, of which the company would spend 160 billion dong for basic construction works. Viet Nhat Real Estate Co, representative of BigC in Vietnam would take responsibility for providing and installing specific machines, equipment for the supermarket with investment cost of over 300 billion dong.
At the same time, the company also work out the plan of constructing a trade centre in the area with total investment capital of about 500 billion dong in the second phase.
