China purchases Vietnam-originated coloured metals

Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that bilateral trade of coloured metal ores increased between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises in the border gate areas recently.

The Chinese firms offered to purchase about 10 types of metal ores, mainly coloured metal ones. The trading contracts will take effects from now until the end of Q3 of 2010.

The processed aluminium ore with ratio of 50 percent is offered at 1,700 yuan per tonne, processed titanium ore with ratio of 53 percent at 2,100 yuan per tonne, processed steel ore with ratio of 60 percent at 1,000 yuan per tonne and processed manganese ore with ratio at 52 percent at 1,650 yuan per tonne.
