Central province boosts trade with China
Businesses in the central province Nghe An are implementing solutions to increase exports to China.
They have actively transformed the trading mechanism from border trade to mainstream trade with their Chinese counterparts and gradually adapted to the non-tariff barriers created by China up on becoming a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Businesses have also increased their trade promotion activities including participating in national trade promotion programmes and exhibitions, building brand names conducting market surveys and seeking new partners.
They have constantly improved the quality of their products and ensured their product hygiene and safety in accordance with WTO and Chinese regulations.
China is now considered as the leading market for Nghe An businesses, accounting for 50 percent of the province’s total export revenue of US$60 million last year.
