Cai Cui-Can Tho Port-2nd phase to be put into operation

Vietnam National Shipping Lines Corp (Vinalines) announced to officially open and put into operation the Cai Cui Port – second phase and Logistics Zone in Cai Rang Dist, Can Tho City.

The Cai Cui Port project – the second phase includes construction works on one container port, and two ports for miscellaneous commodities that can receive the 20,000 dwt cargo ships. The total investment capital in this project is about 1.2 trillion dong.

Duong Chi Dung, Vinalines’ chair revealed that Cai Cui Port would be one of two sea ports with largest loading capacity in the Mekong Delta region.
