Ca Cut bridge opened to traffic

The Ca Cut bridge over Tam Giang Lagoon was opened to traffic yesterday after 600 days of construction.

The bridge, 607 metres in length and 10 metres in width, was built in Huong Phong commune, Huong Tra district, Thua Thien – Hue province, with a total investment of over VND 311.5 billion from the Ministry of Transport.

It links the coastal Highway 91 and residential areas north of Tam Giang Lagoon with Hue city, making a contribution to the local socio-economic development. Beside the Ca Cut bridge, there are now three bridges over Tam Giang Lagoon, namely Thuan An, Truong Ha and Tu Hien.
