Ben Thanh-Tham Luong metro to cost over 26tr dong

HCM City People’s Committee has lately approved the construction project of metro No 2 of Ben Thanh-Tham Luong with expected investment capital of over 26 trillion dong. The total length of the metro route is over 11 kilometres, of which the underground metro route counted for 9 kilometrs

Along the metro route, there are 10 underground depots of Ben Thanh, Tao Dan, Dan Chu, Hoa Hung, Le Thi Rieng, Pham Van Hai, Bay Hien, Nguyen Hong Dao, Ba Queo, Pham Van Bach and one overhead of Tan Binh.

The construction was supposed to be started in October 2010 and officially put into operation in 2016.
