Ban Ve hydropower plant joins national grid

Ban Ve hydropower plant on May 19 officially joined the national grid including the first generator with capacity of 100 MW and the second of 90 MW, according to the PMU of the project.

This is a significant event of the central province of Nghe An to celebrate the 120th year of Uncle Ho’s birthday.

The plant is amongst the biggest hydropower projects in the central of Vietnam with a capacity of 320 MW and the total investment of 6.74 trillion dong.

The plant capitalised at 6.74 trillion dong being started construction in 2004 with a capacity of 320 MW is amongst the biggest hydropower projects in the central of Vietnam.
