Bac Giang’s exports surpass yearly target

Bac Giang’s export revenue in the first eight months of this year is estimated to reach US$432 million, up 2.8 percent compared to this year’s target and up 120 percent over the same period last year.

Than Nhan Ton, Vice Director of the Bac Giang provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said the province has achieved high export value because many export businesses began operation and expanded production. Local authorities actively accelerated administration reform, creating favourable conditions for export businesses to register investment, apply for investment licenses and declare e-customs.

The province also regularly promotes trade and export activities through international fairs, its website and two e-transaction floors.

With 70 export businesses Bac Giang now aims to earn US$520-530 million from exports this year.
